WHY GO SOLAR?

There's so much more but these are the top reasons to go solar!

LOWER OR EVEN ELIMINATE YOUR ELECTRIC BILL

Electricity costs can make up a large portion of your monthly expenses. With a solar panel system, you’ll generate free power from the sun right on your roof. Even if you don’t produce 100 percent of the energy you consume, solar still reduces your utility bills, meaning you’ll save money.

HELPING THE ENVIRONMENT

According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the electric sector accounts for 25 percent of America’s carbon emissions. By installing solar, you can reduce your own personal environmental footprint. When you put a solar panel system on your property, you can avoid purchasing carbon-emitting electricity from the grid, pulling directly from your solar panels instead. And even when you’re not using solar electricity directly, you’re offsetting the need for carbon-emitting generation by putting your solar energy onto the grid. A typical residential solar panel system will eliminate three to four tons of carbon emissions each year—the equivalent of planting over 100 trees annually.

INCENTIVES

Many homeowners can receive money and tax benefits for going solar from their states and federally. There are federal and sometimes even state tax credits. Some states offer credits in the form of cash while others offer rebates.

MEET THE SOLAR CHICK

Growing up, living barefoot at the beach, Shanea found passion and love for the environment around her. Born and raised along the shore of southern New Jersey, she has spent many days of her life enjoying the ocean or exploring the Pine Barrens.

The appreciation for all around her is what brought her to want to protect the environment. The helper in her knew providing solar energy information to homeowners and sharing all she knows could help the environment with each and every person who decides to lower their carbon footprint.
